I had asked my OBGYN who he recommended for a breast aumentation back in June of 2008. He highly recommended Dr. Efird, so I called and scheduled a consultation. Both Dr. Efird and Sandra Horn were so professional and they took their time answering my questions and discussing the procedure. I had the surgery scheduled w/in one week and there were absolutely no problems. I would not hesitate to do it again! The Efird Clinic is top notch, and I will recommend it to ALL my friends and family.

I have to add that I was very impressed with the time that Dr. Efird and everyone at the clinic spent with me. Several of my friends have had procedures done here.. and I can see why they recommended Dr. Efird.

A friend had BA and TT performed by Dr. Efird, and based on her recommendation, I had an initial consultation for BA in February of 2009. My surgery was performed on March 20, 2009, a date that I selected myself based on my work schedule. I am 36 years old, very thin, and have always had very little breast tissue. I was barely an A cup. I had saline implants (Mentor, smooth, round) size 325 cc filled with 375 cc. I am now a full 34 C, and I could not be happier. Everything at the Efird clinic and at the St. Francis surgery center went wonderfully. I would recommend them to anyone. My recovery went smoothly, and my pain was nicely managed with medications. I wish I had this done years ago.

Why did you choose saline over silicone? Also, where was your incision?

Curious,

Saline because they are less expensive, less of a health risk, and easier to detect a rupture. My incision was under the breast. My scars are quite noticable, but I admit I did not take care of them as directed and did allow them to be exposed to UV light in the sunbed. I wasn't concerned about my scars because I've been married 7 years and my body is full of imperfections like strectch marks and moles so who cares about a couple of scars that you can't see when wearing clothing? My ONLY regret is not going larger with my implants. But really, at the time, since I was so small naturally, I would have felt quite overwhelmed with anything larger. If/when I get my implants replaced, I will go larger.
